Terms of use
Using this website.
Last updated 13 October 2026
These terms cover writewithariadne.com and its waitlist. By using the site or joining the waitlist you agree to them. Separate terms of sale and a licence for the Ariadne app will be published before it goes on sale.
1. Who we are
This site is run by Clover Tax Ltd, a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus (company number HE 462607, VAT CY60083648C). “We” and “us” mean Clover Tax Ltd. See the legal notice for our full details.
2. The waitlist
- Joining is free and doesn’t commit you to buying anything.
- Early access and founding-member pricing are offered to people on the list. The exact terms — price, what’s included and for how long — will be confirmed in the terms of sale before Ariadne goes on sale. Nothing on this site is a binding offer to sell.
- Dates, features and prices on this site are our current plans, not promises, and may change.
3. What you see here
The previews show a sample novel, The Glass Orchard, written for this site; its characters and story are fictional. Screens are drawn from Ariadne as it’s being built. Features marked “coming soon” aren’t available yet and may change or not ship.
Third-party names on this site — including Scrivener, Google Drive, Dropbox, Canva, Pinterest, ElevenLabs, Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo and Google Play — are trademarks of their owners. Ariadne is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. Connections to their services use your own account with them, under their terms, and we aren’t responsible for those services.
4. Our content
The name Ariadne, this site’s design, text, images and app screens belong to Clover Tax Ltd. You’re welcome to link to and share the site. You may not copy, scrape or reproduce it, or present it as your own.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t misuse the site: no automated sign-ups, scraping, attempts to break or overload it, or submitting someone else’s details without their permission. We may remove any waitlist entry at our discretion.
6. No warranty
THE SITE AND EVERYTHING ON IT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS. We don’t guarantee the site will be available, error-free or free of harmful components.
7. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, CLOVER TAX LTD AND ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR THE WAITLIST. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SITE IS LIMITED TO EUR 100.
The site and waitlist are free; these limits reflect that. They do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Your responsibility
If you misuse the site or break these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs, losses and claims that Clover Tax Ltd suffers as a result, to the extent the law allows.
9. Disputes
- Talk to us first. Most problems can be fixed with an email. Before starting any claim, please write to us and give us 30 days to put it right.
- Governing law. These terms and any dispute about the site are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus.
- Courts. The courts of the Republic of Cyprus have exclusive jurisdiction.
- Individual claims only. To the fullest extent the law allows, any claim must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in a class, collective or representative action, and you waive any right to a jury trial.
- Time limit. To the extent the law allows, any claim must be brought within one year of the events it concerns.
- Consumers in the EU and UK keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where they live and can bring a claim in their local courts. Nothing in this section takes away rights that local law says can’t be waived.
10. Changes and the rest
We may update these terms; the version on this page with its date applies from then on. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a term straight away doesn’t waive it.
